Lip Fillers
Lip fillers usually last around 6 to 9 months although each client is different and lifestyle factors can play a role in the duration of the fillers.
The brand of filler we use is EPTQ (for more volume) and Neuramis (for a natural look).
What to Expect?
You will receive an initial consultation, on the same day as the procedure. Here, you will be talked through the process and any questions answered. You will be explained to where you will be injected.
Pain reliever numbing cream will be applied to the lips (area of treatment) to provide a smooth and more comfortable process. Lips will also be cleaned with anaesthetic.
Then, the dermal filler will be injected into a few areas of the lips. Hands are used to gently massage the filler in the lips, ensuring it is in the right place, throughout the process.
Results are immediate, although swelling is likely over the next few hours...this is normal.
You will receive all aftercare advice, after the procedure along with contact details for after-procedure support!

Aftercare
After your treatment is complete, we will let you know exactly how to care for your new, fuller lips verbally and with a written aftercare leaflet.
Generally, it is best to avoid intense exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for the first 24 hours after treatment, avoid alcohol, and drink plenty of water.
Also, avoid a hot shower or bath immediately after your treatment. Your lips may be slightly sore, but this will quickly subside.
To help ease any swelling, you may also want to gently apply an ice pack for a few minutes at a time, which can help with pain as well. You may find it more comfortable to sleep on your back, with your head slightly elevated.
Generally, most clients like to go home and take it easy for the rest of the day after fillers, and then return to their normal activities the following day. If you do experience any severe pain or discomfort, contact your treatment centre right away.
